Acupunture for Digestive Health

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) digestive issues are usually caused by imbalances to your Organs Qi (energy) and blood flow. A tongue and pulse diagnosis is first performed to determine the imbalances to your organs. Once your TCM picture is determined, a customized Acupuncture protocol is put together to help treat your digestive issues. Non-invasive small disposable needles are used and inserted into different meridians/channels to help relax your body and aid in alleviating your digestive issues.  Each treatment is approximately 30 minutes long. During the treatment, lights are dimmed and relaxing music is provided to help create further relaxation. Once treatment is complete, you will feel more relaxed and feel relief from your digestive issues. Symptom relief may not be noticed until the second or third treatment.

Frequency of acupuncture sessions will be customized for you. Typically sessions can be 1-2x’s per week for 6-8 treatments and then slowly decreased over time. Maintenance can then be once a month or as needed depending on your health needs.
